This OpenLab, originally scheduled in 2014, has been postponed to May 2015 due to the tragic events occurred in September 2014 in Algeria, when a French citizen was kidnapped and murdered. This OpenLab aims at providing the students with theoretical and practical skills for the structural analysis by X-ray diffraction techniques. In particular, this OpenLab focusses on single-crystal diffraction techniques, and covers all aspects of it from selection and preparation of the crystal to the presentation of results and preparation of publications. Another important objective of this OpenLab is to establish contacts and offer networking opportunities to the young Algerian students, who will meet renown crystallographers at the international level.
