| Description | The Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) has several crystallography research groups created since 1980. They are now organizing the present meeting in celebration of the International Year of Crystallography. The event will take place in the city of Belo Horizonte, at the Physics Institute of the UFMG on November 27-28, 2014.
The program of activities planned are focused on the overall development of Crystallography at the regional, national and international level. Emphasis will be given to existing partnerships and collaborations. The program will include lectures on the applications of crystallography to the study and development of advanced materials. Registration is now open for the participants. Financial support will be offered to graduate students and young researchers. |
