Competition for high schools in Istanbul is organized between the 10th of March and the 18th of April. With the same product, groups of 4 students from high schools or primary schools will have to grow a crystal.
Criteria: mass and quality (match/mismatch with crystal type, presence/absence of occlusions, intact/broken edges, well formed/misformed faces, clarity/muddiness)
A prize ceremony will be carried out to reward the best crystals on 23rd of May in the "Crystallography Day" at Sainte Pulcherie High School in Istanbul.
