| Description | The Chicago Symposium in Honor of the International Year of Crystallography will take place at the University of Illinois at Chicago (900 S. Ashland Ave., Chicago, IL) on Friday, October 10.
Speakers include Prof. Phoebe Rice from the University of Chicago, Prof. Heather Pinkett from Northwestern University, Dr. Bernie Santarsiero from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and Prof. Andrzej Joachimiak from Argonne National Labs/Advanced Photon Source (synchrotron). The symposium will be followed by a poster session. This one-day symposium will provide an opportunity for structural biologists from throughout the Chicago area to meet, network and learn about each other's research. The poster session will also provide an opportunity for graduate students, postdocs, undergraduates and others to present their work in a forum where they can meet others with expertise in protein science. |
